Lifestyle
Its short wings cannot carry it far, but their ultrasonic waves cause headaches. It melts prey with stomach acid. It evolves from Trapinch into Flygon.
In the anime
Dozens of Trapinch evolved into Vibrava by an underground lake, and Team Rocket tried to steal them.
Name origin
It is based on an adult antlion, drawn more like a mayfly. Its name blends vibrate and larva.
