Its story
Lifestyle
It lives in temperate forests and jungles, hanging from branches to sleep. Hidden, it freezes prey with toxic powder, then dissolves it; it evolves from Bellsprout into Victreebel.
In the anime
James owned two Weepinbell, each of which became a Victreebel. Right after evolving, the second bit Jessie, and her Arbok sent it flying.
Name origin
Atsuko Nishida designed it, and its line, after pitcher plants. Weepinbell blends weeping and bell.
