Lifestyle
A symbol of life, it grows forests and shares eternal life through its seven-colored horns. Spent, it becomes a tree and sleeps for a thousand years, in a fragile balance with Yveltal.
In the anime
In the movie, it grants Diancie the Fairy Aura, calms Yveltal, restores what Yveltal petrified, then becomes a tree.
Name origin
Xerneas may blend the letter X, Cernunnos, and the Ceryneian Hind. It resembles a deer, especially the extinct Eucladoceros.
