Its story
Lifestyle
Guardian of the ecosystem, it watches from caves and seeks balance. It cancels Xerneas and Yveltal's auras and steps in only if the ecosystem is in grave danger.
In the anime
Bonnie nicknames a Core “Squishy” and carries it in her bag. It becomes Complete Forme to protect the Nebel Plateau.
Name origin
Its name may come from the letter Z, zygène (a butterfly whose caterpillar is green and black), Greek zugōtós (“joined”), Yggdrasil, and guard.
